When you arrive at the field, report to the registration booth for your tryout number and then begin stretching and warm-ups.

Wear your Spring team jersey and bring your own glove, bat and cleats. If you plan to try out as a catcher, borrow your Spring team's catcher gear.

Q: Do I have to go to tryouts?

Yes, tryouts are mandatory and missing tryouts without making prior arrangements will result in not being placed on a team. If you are unable to make it contact Sandra Carrera (227-7205) or Kent Lister (209-8446).

Q: Who can try out?

All girls 14 years and under who played in Spring 16U, 12U, 10U or 8U divisions in 2007 are encouraged try-out for SSJSB's summer competitive team.

The Summer season generally runs from Memorial Day weekend (end of May) through July. Practices may start sooner but will not conflict with player commitments to their current Spring teams.

Q: What is the practice/game schedule?

Practice and game schedules vary by coach and division. Teams generally practice three days a week and play tournaments on the weekends. Most teams will play between 5-7 tournaments. The 8U will likely play 4-5 tournaments.
