Bailey Coe slugged a double and then listened to her 3rd base coach (who waved her to 3rd only to be thrown out by 20' J) but there was no hesitation and she showed awesome aggressiveness on the bases!

Alisa Wakita flashed her blazing speed on the base paths in the 3rd Inning when she stole 3 bases including home. Brianna Donaldson had a single in the 5th inning getting her first rbi of the season and later scoring herself.

Penguins 18, Lightning 6
Miriah Milliman displayed her keen base running ability by stealing 2nd, 3rd and home in the second inning. Gabby Forbes had a solid all-around game with great pitching, her hitting was on line, and her running was FAST (as usual!!).

Grass Stainz 9, Penguins 5
Mimi Nguyen got knocked on the noggin during warm-ups but played through it, got on base twice and scored two runs. Katrina had a fast catch from the catcher to tag an out at 3rd base and a sliding catch of a fly ball out in left field that was great!

Xplosion 6, Grass Stainz 4
Rebecca Hennessy gobbled up everything hit to her at shortstop and belted her first hit of the season. Mikaela Mendez hit a double and a single with 2 rbi and also had 2 outstanding ground ball plays at 3rd base.

Red Rockers 19, Incredibles 5
Ashley Lara did a fabulous job with a single, double and a 2-run home run, 4 RBI's, scored 4 times, and also struck out 6 in 2 innings of pitching. Incredibles game ball goes to Victoria Castillo who smacked a line drive for her first hit of the season!

Tuesday, March 18

Incredibles 8, Dominators 2
Selena Gomez had a great bunt to start the game off. The Incredibles' team ball goes to Brynne Fitzpatrick who threw heat for three innings striking out 9.

Red Rockers 3, Xplosion 3
Leah Angulo had two hits and scored with a great slide at home. Kaliah Mendoza gets the Xplosion's game ball for coming through with her first hit of the season in the fifth inning of a tied game.

Freeze 7, Grass Stainz 5
Jannah Quayed came in with to pitch the 7th inning in a very close game, and preserved the win for the Freeze. Caitlin Ambrose had two solid base hits and made a pair of great plays on ground balls at 2nd base.

Penguins 14, Lightning 3
Danika Leon crushed the ball for a single to left field and stole 3 bases including home. Carly Cooper's first hit of the game got the tempo going with a 2-base hit.

Saturday, March 15

Freeze 14, Xplosion 3
Jessica Kapi made a fantastic catch in left field on a high fly ball. CJ Keltner did a fabulous job in her first game at Catcher, hit a two run home run and had four RBI's.

Incredibles 8, Red Rockers 6
Incredibles' game ball goes to Marcella Kay who struck out 8 over 3 innings and had a key hit!

Grass Stainz 8, Red Rockers 2
Hannah Harris had three hits, scored three runs, and struck out eight of the ten batters she faced.

Incredibles 8, Lightning 4
Inez Villegas made a heads up unassisted double play by catching a pop-up and quickly tagging a vacated 2nd base. Incredibles' game ball goes to Sara Hack who came in cold to pitch 3 stellar innings striking out 7.

Grass Stainz 20, Lightning 8
Mckenzie Hudson made a great play at home plate by preventing a runner from scoring on a steal attempt. Kasey Opilla struck out four batters in two innings and got her first hit of the season!

Penguins 11, Dominators 11
Kayla Rooney came in to pitch and shut them down in the 3rd inning...way to work hard Kayla!

Tuesday, March 11

Grass Stainz 8, Dominators 8
Maddy McCue got a solid base hit, then stole 2nd, 3rd and home (with a beautiful slide)! Allie Hughes got 2 great hits.

Incredibles' game ball goes to Olivia Paolinetti for a GREAT job catching behind the plate!

Freeze 9, Lightning 1
Teresa Danenberg got two hits and stole five bases including home plate. Destinee Camacho got her first hit and played well at second base.

Red Rockers 9, Penguins 4
Zaria Lister's first hit was a triple with an RBI. Kayleigh Sharkey sure did get a hold of that pitch and sent that ball outta here for her first homerun!!

Xplosion 7,  Dominators 6
The Xplosions close victory was helped with the bat Victoria Kott, who went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIS and 1 run.

Penguins 12, Freeze 8
Game ball goes to Ashley Flores; with the bases loaded in both of her at-bats, she hit a double and a single. Carli Ruby got a nice hit and scored 2 runs.

Red Rockers 20, Lightning 2
Demetria Quijada got her first hit and RBI of the season. Britney Bliven singled in the fourth driving in the Lighting's first run of the season.

Grass Stainz 13, Incredibles 11
Catcher Samantha Goldberg made a heads-up play tagging out a runner trying to score on a passed ball. Incredibles' game ball goes to Mykal-Anne Lopez for making an amazing catch at second base.
